Miyapur becomes Selfie station,Ameerpet witness Heavy rush

Hyderabad Dec 4: Hyderabad Metro witnessed a huge rush on Sunday as it was a holiday.Offiicals estimate that more than 2 lakh people have traveled in the metro and many more people have returned their tokens as they were unable to travel because of heavy rush.

Officials said that we didn't expect huge rush and we thought the euphoria would end but it turned out to be negative.Sources said that many people were traveling from Nagole -Ameerpet and the Ameerpet interchange station witnessed heavy rush.



Miyapur station has become selfie station as many people have spent more time at the station as it has huge space and many people have taken selfies at Metro pylon inaugurated by PM Modi.

Sources said that the rush would subside in coming days because of steep fares and people have demanded to reduce them.
