Mithali Raj celebrates her birthday; Women's cricket team captain

Indian Women's cricket team superstar Mithali Raj turned 35 on Sunday.

She was wished from fans to cricket players and BCCI. Sachin tendulkar was the first to wish Mithali on her birthday.

He wrote "Wishing one of India's finest athletes a very happy birthday. @M_Raj03, you've already inspired millions of girls to take up sport and I'm sure will do so for many more to come. Have a great year ahead! #playitHERway (Sic)"

Mithali is the only women cricketer to have gone past six thousand runs in Women's ODIs.



The Indian women's cricket team captain has a record of 6,190 runs from 186 international matches at an average of 51.58.

Others who wished Mithali were Suresh Raina and Mithali's teammate Veda Krishnamurthy . While Raina described Raj as the most successful female cricketer, Veda shared a selfie with her skipper in the tweet.

BCCI also posted birthday wishes for Mithali.
