Sri Lankan players vomit due to Delhi pollution; Oxygen cylinders

Delhi Dec 03: The Sri Lankan cricket team management is concerned about the health of players as few players vomited due to toxic air of Delhi.

Team coach Nic Pothas said that oxygen cylinders were placed in the dressing room of Players. Health of Suranga Lakmal, Lahiru Gamage and Dhananjaya de Silva was disturbed due to Delhi pollution and they were vomiting was informed by coach.

Delhiā€™s toxic air interrupted the third Test between Indian cricket team and Sri Lanka for around 20 minutes on Sunday when thick haze brought the visibility down after the lunch break. It was, probably, the first time an international match was disrupted by pollution

"Obviously it is well documented that Delhi has high level of pollution," Pothas told the media.
