Telangana Tops in Beer marketing

Hyderabad Dec 3: Telangana state has achieved another record.The state has been ranked top in the Beer marketing among the southern states even in the Winter season.

According to the reports, Telangana people are consuming 37 lakh bottles per month on an average and in order to meet the increased demand TSBCL is importing 20,000 bottles per day resulting in
Telangana importing beer bottles from neighbouring states while stalling exports.

Excise officials have said that Telangana stands number one in beer marketing in the country not only south.They have added that more people have started consumption and the demand has increased in recent days despite winter session has increased. sources said that the prices have remained stable and this may be another factor for the rise in demand.
