Poonam Kaur announced as AP brand Ambassador for handloom

Vijayawada, Dec 2: The Tollywood gorgeous actress Samantha Akkineni is the brand Ambassador of Telangana State for Handlooms and recently Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced Poonam Kaur Lal as AP's Brand Ambassador for handloom.

The former Miss Andhra has been using every opportunity to promote handlooms. Recently Poonam Kaur has amazed everyone as she met former USA President Barack Obama and also handed a reward to him.

Apparently, she met him at Obama Foundation's assembly in New Delhi at the Hindustan Instances Leadership Summit. On behalf of Andhra Pradesh Government, Poonam handed Obama a handloom weaved costume. The photographs of Poonam and Barack Obama are going viral on the social media.

The Hyderabad Born Poonam Kaur is one of the talented heroines in the Tollywood Movie industry. She entered in Telugu film industry with 'Mayajalam' directed by SV. Krishna Reddy in 2006.

Though she has acted in various Telugu movies like Oka 'V' Chitram, Souryam, Gaganam, Nagavalli,but did not get much recognition. She was last seen in Telugu comedy horror movie Nayaki starring Trisha Krishnan in 2016.
