Air Asia to increase flight services from Vizag to Malaysia

Visakhapatnam Dec 1: In a move to promote tourism, Malaysia Tourism, AirAsia and travel agents have announced a tourism package for Rs 7,999 from Vizag to Kuala Lumpur with a sale period from November 30 to December 15. The three-night tour package bought during this offer is valid until 2018.

AirAsia has said that "it will be increasing its flight operation services at Visakhapatnam from three to four in a week starting from December 23.

Sources said that "The Indian travel agents said that visa to Malaysia is being given at Rs 1,650. Apart from this, they have a shopping package for Rs 7,000. This partnership in the state is aimed at easing the entry for Indian tourists into Malaysia."

Experts said that this would boost tourism as the most favoured destinations other than Kuala Lumpur are Langkawi, Penang and Johor Bahru, which have amazing markets, theme parks, shopping centres, islands and scenic beaches.
