Nana Patekar: Threats to Bhansali and Deepika are unacceptable

Yet another actor came in support of Deepika padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Actor Nana Patekar, who is known for his unique acting skills said on Thursday that threats to Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali regarding the release of Padmavati are unacceptable.

"Padmavati has not released yet. You don't know what has been shown in the film. I don't want to get into this, but what I believe is that giving threats to Deepika and Bhansali is wrong and unacceptable," Patekar said.



The controversy started with Karni sena opposing the movie which later took a political turn and now some politicians are even encouraging violence against the director and actress.

The release date was December 1st but due to the controversy it has been deferred and has not yet got clearance from Central Board of Film Certification(CBFC).
