Indian exporters file Rs 6,500 crore IGST returns

Just after first four months of GST being implemented the Indian exporters have claimed refunds worth Rs 6,500 crore.

The Government official statement provided this information and also asked exporters to file claims in the proper format with matching shipping bills by which no hurdle will come in the refund of IGST (integrated GST) paid.

The businesses can upload the final sale returns for August in GSTR-1 will start from December 4 on the GST network portal.

"Refund claims of IGST paid for exports made in August, September and October 2017 are being sanctioned seamlessly wherever returns have been accurately filed," the statement said.
