AP Government Fails, Telangana Government Succeeds

Hyderabad Nov 28: Hyderabad city has geared up for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) which would be Inaugurated on Tuesday.USA presidential advisor Advisor and American President Daughter Ivanka Trump would be attending the event.

The visit of Ivanka to Hyderabad is a pride for Telangana Government and the government has made huge arrangements for her visit to the state and the efforts made by the state government including Telangana IT Minister KTR have resulted in success.

Earlier KTR met PM Modi and requested him to make sure that US President Advisor Ivanka Trump visit Hyderabad.

Recently the reports have emerged that AP Government has also invited US President Daughter to AP and address the gathering but their efforts have failed.

Sources said that "AP's Economic Development Board (EDB) chief executive J Krishna Kishore pursued the issue with US authorities on behalf of the state government but to no avail".

AP Officials have said that " she would not be attending any other programme, apart from the GES and those in New Delhi. So, we did not get a chance to host her".
