AP CM Naidu assures justice to Medical students

Amaravati, Nov 27:The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has assured students of Fathima Institute of Medical Sciences (FIMS-Kadapa), that the government is doing everything in its capacity to solve the crisis in the aftermath of Medical Council of India (MCI) cancelling the recognition for a batch of the college students as it did not meets its norms.

The affected students and parents of the FIMS met the Chief Minister in the Assembly here on Monday.

He requested them to be patient. "We will urge the central government to intervene and push this case forward in the Supreme Court", he said.

"If the Apex Court gives permission soon, all affected students who are qualified the NEET will get a confirmed seat in FIMS or any other medical college", he added.
