Congress released final list of candidates for Gujarat Elections

Gujarat Nov 27: On the last day of filing of nomination, the Congress on Monday, has released its final list of 14 candidates besides leaving two seats for its allies.

The third list of candidates was released late night by the party, containing 76 candidate names.

The fourth and the final list had 14 new names, however, the Manjalpur constituency candidate was changes, i.e Chirag Zaveri has been fielded in place of Purvesh Borela.



The Congress also kept two seats of Morvahadaf (ST) and Vaghodia for the Bharatiya Tribal Party, headed by former JD (U) MLA Chhotubhai Vasava, which has allied with the party.

The polling is set to take place on December 9 and 14 in two-phase elections.
