GES:400 Indian Startups to showcase their talent

Hyderabad Nov 26: Hyderabad city has geared up for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) which would be Inaugurated on Nov 28.USA presidential advisor Advisor and American President Daughter Ivanka Trump would be attending the event.

The main theme of the event is women prosperity and empowerment and accordingly, more women would be participating in the event. The Summit would also focus on Entrepreneurship and many startup founders would showcase their talent and some of them would interact with other leaders and business dealings may also take place.

Sources said that nearly 1500 delegates would be attending the summit out of which 500 delegates would be from India, 500 would be from US and remaining 500 from rest of the world.Out of the 500 delegates participating from India, 400 are startups and 100 are investors, experts, mentors, and others.

T-Hub COO Srinivas Kollipara said that "Out of the 400 startups participating from India about 87 of them are from Hyderabad. However, we cannot give out details about how many are from T-Hub. But the first priority is for women-run startups and also the startups that are working on the themes mentioned by GES".

The startups would exhibit their inventions and these are expected to be visited by PM Modi and US President advisor Ivanka Trump.

Experts said that the summit would be a platform for startups to interact with global leaders and share and receive ideas which would be a win-win situation as the brainstorming may lead to discovery/invention of solutions to problems faced by people in daily life .
