On Saturday, Pv Sindhu entered finals of Women's singles at the $400,000 Hong Kong Open Superseries after defeating former world Badminton Champion Ratchanok Intanon in straight games.
She won 21-17, 21-17 in 43 minutes at the Hong Kong Coliseum. This was the Rio Olympics silver medallist's only second win in six meetings against the Thai girl.
World No.3 Sindhu will next take on World No.1 and top seed Tai Tzu Ying of Chinese Taipei in the summit clash. It will be a repeat of last year's final when Tai emerged victorious in straight games.
