BJP announces 5th List of candidates for Gujarat polls

Gandhinagar Nov 24: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today has declared its fifth list of 13 candidates for the Gujarat Assembly elections.With the new list released the ruling party has declared contestants for 148 out of total 182 seats.
Some of the popular candidates included in the list are film actor Hiteshbhai Kanodiya, son of former BJP MLA Naresh Kanodiya, from Ider constituency in Sabarkantha district. Karshanbhai Punjabhai Solanki from Kasi Reserve seat. Congress defector Amitbhai Chaudhary, who left Congress to join the saffron camp.Chaudhary a close aide of former CM Shankersinh Vaghela, has been fielded from Mansa constituency.
The ruling party hopes that the developmental works they have done would garner them votes meanwhile the opposition Congress party is backing on OBC and Dalit leaders .
