Beyhad actor Piyush Sahdev arrested in rape charges

Mumbai Nov 24: Beyhad actor Piyush Sahdev was arrested on Wednesday in rape charges. A women lodged an FIR against him at Versova Police station, Mumbai.

The news was confirmed by senior inspector, Kiran Vasantrao Kale.

"Yes, he has been charged with rape. An FIR was lodged against him on November 20. After investigations, we arrested him on November 22. He was produced in court on the same day and has been sent to police custody till November 27" inspector said.



However, Piyush's father and brother didn't disclose any information and are not ready to talk about this.

Piyush's ex-wife Akangsha Rawat, first said on call that they are discussing case with Lawyer, but later said she doesn't know anything since she and Piyush are not in touch.

"I am not in touch with Piyush since almost 4 months, we separated six months back, so I have no idea if this news is true" was her meaage to one of the leading news agency.
