EC Allots AIADMK Two-leaves symbol to EPS-OPS Faction

Chennai NOV 23: A legal tussle for a party symbol has ended as the Election Commission has granted the AIADMK rettai ellai (two-leaves) symbol to the unified faction of OPS-EPS . Earlier the EC has frozen the symbol as three factions such as O Pannerselvam, E Palaniswamy and Sasikala Faction TTV Dinakaran has claimed the symbol.

Tamilnadu Cheif Minister Palaniswamy tweeted that "EC has given judgment in our favor, we are very happy. Majority of party workers supported us.It is a fair verdict by EC. We submitted affidavits to prove that majority of cadres are with us. Based on this, EC has delivered a fair decision."



Earlier the unified faction has approached the EC and has submitted an affidavit that and proved that they had a majority of the party cadre.

AIADMK ousted leader Sasikala and her faction TTV Dinakaran has not responded on the issue.
