Kollywood Film Producer commits suicide

Chennai Nov 22: Kollywood film producer and director B. Ashok Kumar allegedly committed suicide at his residence in Chennai's Alwarthirunagar on Tuesday.

sources said that "He was reportedly being harassed and threatened by a financier, with whom he was associated for more than seven years."

Ashok Kumar is a cousin of popular Tamil cinema director Sasikumar, has co-produced his films, including 'Eesan', 'Poraali' and the yet-to-be-released 'Kodi Veeran'.

The police have booked a case and the probe is on and further details are awaited .
