India Sucessfully test fires Brahmos Missile

Odisha Nov 22: In yet another development of military advancement, India has successfully test-fired the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile from a Sukhoi-30MKI fighter jet.It is the first time that the missile was successfully flight-tested from the fighter aircraft against a sea-based target.
The missile was gravity dropped from Su-30MKI fighter jet and the two-stage missile immediately headed for its target at the Bay of Bengal.The success would improve the IAFs air combat capabilities from stand-off ranges.
Defense Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has congratulated the DRDO and IAF and tweeted that"India creates a world record and completes Supersonic Cruise Missile Triad by successfully testing BRAHMOS ALCM from Indian Air Force Sukhoi-30MKI fighter aircraft.
Smt nsitharaman congratulates Team Brahmos & DRDO_India for this historic achievement."
Brahmos is a world-class weapon with multi-platform, multi-mission platform and is capable of being launched from land, sea, and air and it would be crucial during the war times.It was developed jointly by DRDO of India and NPOM of Russia.
