ALTO Is the most selling passenger Vehicles

Mumbai, Nov 21: India's Most selling passenger vehicles list was released recently and the Maruti Suzuki's Alto has bagged the no1 position overpowering its Dzire for two consecutive months in August and September.

Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) has released the data for the month of October.The data revealed that MSI's Alto clocked sales of 19,447 units on October, 7 out of the top 10 selling passenger vehicle models are from the stable of Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) and the remaining three models were from Hyundai Motor India.

# Among the top 10 best selling models DZire obtained the second place with sales of 17,447 units.

# MSI's premium hatchback Baleno came in third with 14,532 units.

# Hyundai’s compact model Grand i10 stood fourth with sales of 14,417 units.

# MSI's compact model Wagon R is at fifth position with sales of 13,043 units.

# The company’s small car Celerio was sixth with 12,209 units.

# MSI's Swift occupied the seventh spot with 12,057 units.

# The company's compact SUV Vitara Brezza ranked eighth last month, notching up sales of 11,684 units.

# Hyundai's Elite i20 stood at the ninth position with sales of 11,012 units

# Hyundai's SUV Creta was placed 10th with sales of 9,248 units.
