Chennai, November 19: As we knew that, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal bagged the Nandi state award, announced by the Andhra Pradesh government, in the best supporting category for his performance in Janatha Garage.

In this regard, he took his twitter handler and thanked the Andhra Pradesh State Government for the award.

He said in a tweet that, "I'm grateful to people & d Govt of AP for honouring me with d prestigious Nandi Award for best supporting Actor. Meanwhile, He is busy with his upcoming flick " Odiyan", The star is currently undergoing intense workout sessions to reduce his weight before joining the shooting.

Odiyan is a fantasy thriller that has Mohanlal playing the title role with Prakash Raj, Manju Warrier, Siddique and Innocent in the star cast as well.
