Woman gang raped by 3 members in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, Nov 18, Here is cruel incident has occurred while a 22-year-old woman was allegedly brutally raped by three men, including an autorickshaw driver, in the forest area of Sector 53 here on Friday.

Police said on Saturday that the victim, who belongs from Dehradun, was staying at Mohali near Chandigarh for study and a private job.

A report said the victim was attending her class of stenography in Sector 37 here and hired an auto from Chandigarh to Mohali.

Three men were already sitting in the auto and they allegedly raped the woman in the way.

The culprits managed to escape after committing the crime.
