ISL: Kerala Blasters draw ATK in opening match

Kochi Nov 18: The Indian Superleague (ISL ) Football Tournament has begun yesterday as celebrities have gathered at the event.

The First match between Kerala Blasters and ATK ended up in a draw as both the team couldn't secure a goal and shared each point.The opening match was held at Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in Kochi.

Both the teams have defended well and couldn't secure a goal.Both teams took a combined 17 shots, attempted a combined 34 crosses and pumped in 11 corners, but to no avail.

The tournament contains 10 teams and the matches would continue for 4 months from November 17 to March 2018

Two new teams Bengaluru FC and Jamshedpur FC have joined the 4th season of the league and 90 league matches would be played by the teams.

All league matches to be played from Wednesday to Saturday will kick off at 8 PM (IST) with Sunday featuring doubleheaders at 5:30 PM and 8 PM (IST).
