Telangana Assembly and Council Adjourned Sine die

Hyderabad Nov 18: The Telangana Assembly and the Legislative council was adjourned sine die on Friday.The Assembly held sittings on 16 working days with 69 hours and 25 minutes of working hours. However, the session was not prorogued and sources said that the House may resume work after Dec 3.

The Speaker has announced the decision in the assembly.There were reports there was no discussion on adjournment in the Business Advisory Committee Meeting later Minister Harish Rao has informed the opposition parties regarding this.

Earlier Cheif Minister KCR has announced that the house would be held for 50 days and the government was ready to discuss any issue



"We have decided to give a break to the session as Hyderabad city will host an international event and foreign delegates will be here to participate in it. However, the session might resume anytime after December 3" said Government Chief Whip Koppula Eeshwar.

Various topics of public importance such as the implementation of welfare schemes, construction of irrigation projects, industrial development, farmers welfare, land record verification were discussed.

The Legislative council to discussed some important issues and was adjourned sine die yesterday.
