Hot air Balloon Festival in Araku concluded, Tourists unhappy

Araku Nov 17: The Hot air balloon festival balloon conducted by Andra Pradesh Tourism Department has been concluded yesterday.

The Festival was inaugurated on Nov 14 and it was supposed to be held for 3 days but the festival was suspended on the second day and third day because of the bad weather.

Many tourists were disappointed with the announcement from the organizers.Organisers have said that the weather was bad and the balloons couldn't lift up because of the rain which occurred last night.



Many people have gathered at the spot to see the hot air balloons rising the sky and the Andhra Pradesh government for the first time has held such event.

Around 300 delegates from 13 countries were expected to attend but they didn't attend because of the bad weather.Earlier Yesterday the Chandra babu visit was also canceled.

Finally, many people said that event which was supported to attract many tourists couldn't attract them because of the bad weather and the festival took place only for 3-5 hours on Day1.
