15,000 Scientists warn end of earth

London Nov 15: In a bid to save the world and to raise awareness among the people more than 15,000 scientists across the globe have signed 'Warning To Humanity '.

Although the campaign was started in 1992, very feeble response was taken and many scientists have agreed that the situation has deteriorated drastically in the past 25 years.

William Ripple of Oregon State University's College of Forestry has started the campaign and he found out that the following factors have led the world to an edge of destruction

# A decline in freshwater availability.

# Unsustainable marine fisheries

# Ocean dead zones

# Forest losses

# Dwindling biodiversity

# Climate change

# Population explosion

There was a report that the number of animals has dropped by 29 per cent in the last 25 years.

Many scientists have also said that the ozone depletion has drastically come down because of the alternative steps were taken by the government.

Scientists hope that this would raise awareness among the people so that earth can be saved .
