Gujarat Congress leader compares Hardik to Sardar patel

Senior Gujarat Congress leader Shaktisinh Gohil on Monday striked a controversy with his comment comaring hardik Patel to Sardal Vallabhai patel.

Sardar patel also known as 'Iron Man' was the first deputy Prime Minister of Independent India.

The BJP critisized the remark and said that such a comparision is an insult to the legend. The relatives of Sardar Patel too found it offensive to compare Hardik to Sardar patel, they said Sardar patel worked to keep India united and Hardik goal is dividing.

Senior Gujarat Congress leader Shaktisinh Gohil said “Hardik Patel is fighting against the injustices meted out to his community with a steadfastness and authenticity which could not be bought over even by the crores of rupees of (BJP chief) Amit Shah and could not be broken even after he was jailed for months,”.

"He has the DNA of Sardar Patel, who could not be bought or broken by the Englishmen. Similarly, the BJP cannot buy or scare Hardik,”.he added.
