AndhraPradesh Nov 24 : Govt of AP is planning to introduce a family health insurance scheme on January 1st in the state. By paying Rs 100 premium per head, so that whole family can use the scheme. Andhra Pradesh was the fisrt state to implement such a scheme in India says Naidu.
Cheif Minister of AP,Chandrababu Naidu said the reputed organisations like WHO, Bill Gates Foundation and other health organisations will be involved in the family health insurance scheme. The Scheme is estimated around Rs 160.56 crore to launch and officials asked to complete the enrollment and collection of premium within two months. They added the necessary allotments will be sanctioned in the next budget of the scheme.
Chandrababu Naidu was planning to launch the Swasta Vidya Vahini in 222places to provide a nutrious food to the students. Naidu is calling the two schemes as a new year gift.
Nearly 16.13 lakh Govt employees can avail this scheme and four crore people can get free medical services under NTR Vidya Seva.
