Women escapes Molestation, jumps off train

Kanpur, November 13: Nowadays, eve teasing and harassments increasing in every place of the country, at shopping malls, bus stops, railways etc.A similar incident happened in Kanpur here on Sunday.

According to the reports, A woman along with her daughter jumped off a running train near Kanpur to escape molestation.The mother-daughter duo sustained injuries and are being treated in a nearby hospital.

The sources added that The women were traveling from Howrah to Delhi.



A group of men allegedly attempted to molest both the women at a time the train departed from Howrah station.The woman complained about the accused persons in several stations but the police didn't responded well.

A case has been registered in the regard and the matter is under investigation.

A Kanpur GRP In-Charge told that the women engaged in a heated argument with the men following which, fearing molestation, they jumped off the train.
