Temperatures to drop further in Telangana :IMD

Adilabad Nov 13: The Telangana state has been witnessing the early winter arrival as the temperatures at the night in the state have gone down drastically in the last two days.

Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad office, on Sunday issued a report stating that the minimum temperatures would drop further by 2-5 degrees in the coming days in the state.

Adilabad has recorded the lowest temperature of 9 degrees Celsius and Medak minimum temperature was registered 11 degrees Celsius.

However, the officials have not issued any warning of cold wave in the state.

Officers said that "There is a constant flow of cold winds from the northern regions, which is bringing down the night-time temperature in Marathwada and Telangana. While these winds blow over the region during the day, they cool down during the night and make the climate colder."
