HYderabad Metro Uppal Depot Facilities

Hyderabad Nov 10: The Hyderabad Metro rail countdown has begun and the Authorities are conducting are working art brisk pace to complete the pending works before it is inaugurated by PM Modi on Nov 28 Between Miyapur- Nagole 30 Km.

The Authorities have yesterday inspected the metro depots at Uppal and Miyapur and briefed the media about the various facilities available in the depots.

The Uppal depot is crucial for the metro because all the trains would be rested in the depot after the operations. The depot contains the following facilities

Automatic train cleaning system



Several high-end machines would be used to clean the trains daily.

Rescue vehicles /maintenance system

Special vehicles are procured for the metro rescue operation these vehicles reach the spot and help the passengers and also solve the technical failures

Testing Track and OCC :

The Authorities would give operational commands to the metro trains which would help in the smooth running of trains and the trains would be monitored in the depot.

Finally, the Authorities are also testing the Metro smart cards and Tokens which would be issued as the tickets for metro passengers.
