Family of 4 injured in LPG Cylinder blast

Punjab, Nov 10: Here is a ghastly incident has occurred while four persons of a family were severely burnt and suffered multiple injuries after an LPG cylinder exploded at their residence in Laxmi Nagar, Ludhiana on Thursday.

The victim family was living in a labor quarter in Laxmi Nagar. After the explosion, their room collapsed and the family got buried under the debris. Since the room was bolted from inside, the rescue operation was also delayed.

The details reported that, The injured were identified as Shatrughan Paswan( 45), his wife Sukriya Devi (40) and their children Radha (19) and Govinda (18).

Govinda's condition is also stable but the other three persons are still critical. Paswan works as a rickshaw puller while his wife works as a domestic help.

According to police sources, the LPG cylinder in their room was leaking. Since the room was congested and had no ventilation, it led to the blast.
