Two arrested for running obscene websites on film stars

Hyderabad, Nov 8: The Cyber Crime Police have arrested two persons on Tuesday for operating obscene websites on film stars and seized four laptops, two phones and other incriminating material from their possession.

The information reported that, The accused were identified as Thakor Maheshkumar Jayanthiji and Thakor Balusinh, both natives of Ahmedabad.

The arrest was made based on a complaint from the Movie Artists Association (MAA). The accused were involved in publishing morphed obscene images of film actresses on their websites.

"The accused resorted to the crime to fetch money from each like they received on their website. They earned Rs 25,000 to Rs 35,000 per month.

During the interrogation, they confessed that they do not know Telugu but could identify the popular artists of all the film industries and publish stories on them along with their obscene photos on the websites," the police said. The accused were brought to the city on a transit warrant and sent on remand.
