Mouni Roy out of Naagin 3 ; Busy with movies

Mouni Roy who made her debut years back rose to fame with Ekta Kapoor's Naagin Season 1 and 2. The actress shot for the two seasons nearly back to back which had kept her busy the whole of the last one and a half years.

But there is a bad news for all her fans as the actress has decided not to be a part of Naagin3, if sources are to be believed.

The actress will be replaced by a newcomer in the third season, which is scheduled to go on air next year, during Diwali, on Colors.



A source revealed that “Ekta is planning to launch a new face with the upcoming season of Naagin as Mouni is quite reluctant to return for the third series. She has told Ekta that her track is getting monotonus for her.”

Additionally, it has been reported that Mouni is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan acting as her godfather. She is soon going to be seen opposite Akshay Kumar in his upcoming film, Gold. Once she wraps that up, she will start shooting for an ALT Balaji web series, Mehrunisa, following which she will begin shooting for Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan.
