YS Jagan comments on AP CM over Amaravati designs

Kadapa, Nov 7: The Andhra Pradesh opposition leader YS Jagan has commented CM Chandrababu Naidu over new designs of capital city Amaravati.

The Andhra Pradesh Govt took three-and-a-half years to finalize the designs of new capital Amaravati. A part of the construction work is scheduled to begin in January next year. Nobody knows how long it will take to complete at least the iconic structures of Amaravati.

Upon launching his Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Idupulapaya, YS Jagan questioned whether if Chandrababu Naidu has constructed one permanent building in the past four years. He accused the AP CM of doing nothing other than snatching the fertile lands of the farmers.

"Chandrababu Naidu would tour foreign countries and declares he is going to construct such iconic structures. Upon watching new Telugu movies, He wishes to have such settings in the Capital. Luckily, He isn't watching English Films," he ridiculed.

Jagan alleged Chandrababu Naidu of leaking the news of New Capital in Amaravati region in advance to his benamis and making them buy lands from farmers at nominal prices. 'Lands of Naidu's benamis were spared but those of farmers were snatched,' he says.

Yuva Neta complained farmers and handloom weavers have been committing suicides in TDP rule. He accused Chandrababu Naidu of cheating farmers, students and unemployed with false promises.
