Vishakapatnam Nov 6: Andhra Pradesh Science Congress 2017 will be held at the Andhra University from November 7 to 9.
AU Vice-Chancellor G Nageswara Rao told the media that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would inaugurate the Congress and the main theme of the event is 'GreenTechnologies for Transformation and Sustainable development. He added that the day also happens to be the birth anniversary of Sir CV Raman, Madam Curie, and Acharya NG Ranga.
VC added that "after the Chief Minister’s inaugural address, he will give away awards. This would be followed by Padma Bhushan AV Rama Rao Endowment Lecture by Secretary-Department of Science and Technology Ashutosh Sharma on the topic 'Navigating Scientific Complexity by common sense' ,some personal lessons at the AU Convocation Hall. Around 60 distinguished scientists from across the country would be delivering lectures during the three-day meet.
