Hyderabad Metro Rail to improve Public Transportation: Deputy CM

Hyderabad, Nov 5: The Telangana Deputy Chief Minister (Revenue) Mohammad Mahmood Ali said on Saturday that the first phase of Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) will be launched on November 28.

Speaking at the 10th Urban Mobility India (UBI) Conference and Expo held at HICC here, Mr Ali said the first phase of Hyderabad Metro Rail from Nagole to Miyapur will be launched on that day.

He said that the urban population was increasing day-by-day. The Hyderabad city has 10 million population. The need of hour to improve public transportation system, he added.

The Deputy Chief Minister also expressed happiness over conducting an International Conference in Hyderabad city.
