Manhattan attack 8 killed, 11 injured

A man with paint-ball and pellet guns posing them as real guns drove a pickup truck through a bike-only path, along the Hudson River in Manhattan, New York on Tuesday.

According to reports 8 people were killed and atleast 11 were injured in the attack. This was the deadliest attack since September 11 2001.



The rampage stopped when the attacker who was identified as Sayfullo Saipov , 29 smashed into a school bus and got down from his truck. He ran up and down shouting 'Allahu Akbar' arabic for 'God is great' waving the pellet gun and Paint ball.

The police shot him in abdomen, he was then taken to a hospital. His condition is reportedly critical.
