Telangana tops, while AP stands in 15th place

New Delhi, Nov 1: Telangana government has started the work on the new set of reforms early, in order to retain the top slot in the Ease Of Doing Business (EODB) rankings this year.

Telangana, Haryana, West Bengal are the three best-performing states in "Ease of doing business", NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant said on Monday.

In this regard, the Vice-president Venkaiah Naidu has taken his twitter handler and tweeted that "Also happy that Telangana became number one State in the ease of doing business, Haryana number second and West Bengal number third."

Earlier, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have jointly dislodged Gujarat to emerge as the best states to do business in the country, according to a report by the World Bank and DIPP.
