High court questions TS govt for denying permissions

Hyderabad, Nov 01: The common division bench Hyderabad High Court has chided the Telangana TRS government during a hearing on the TJAC's "Koluvula Kotlata" meeting proposed to be held on Tuesday.

The court asked why the state government was not giving permissions only to TJAC meetings. The court directed the government to file a counter before November 6, and posted the case to that date.

Meanwhile, TJAC Chairman M Kodandaram went on a 24-hour Deeksha at his residence in protest against the state government's "suppressive and dictatorial attitude" towards agitations demanding solutions to the unemployment issue in the state.

Speaking on the occasion, Kodandaram said that the youth were facing hardships due to non-availability of jobs though they were well-educated, the government, instead of reassuring them, was preventing them from giving voice to their problems.

TDP MLA from LB Nagar R Krishnaiah visited the Deeksha and extended solidarity with Kodandaram.
