Australian Company to invest in Amaravati

Amaravati, Nov 01: The Australia based "Woodside" Petroleum Company has come forward to invest in Amaravati.

The company officials met with Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu at the Secretariat with their proposals. Representatives of the company explained their interest in investing in the state.

In the Petroleum sector, the famous "Woodside" Petroleum Company in Australia came up with a large LNG (liquidized natural gas) terminal at Kakinada.

State Economic Development Council CEO Jasti Krishna Kishore introduced them to the Chief Minister. Krishna Kishore explained that the company, which has nearly 60 years of experience in the field of oil and gas, is keen to set up a huge LNG terminal in the state and invest Rs 1,100,000 cr.

Woodside vice president Reinhard Matinson, technical department chairman Murthy Eranakis congratulated Chandrababu. He was happy to know that Murthy was in the Godavari area of Ernakulam. I would like to cooperate.



AIIB support for 5 projects

The Asian Infrastructure and Investment Bank (AIIB) has come forward to provide financial support to the five major projects in the state. The bank has been prepared to provide financial assistance to Andhra Pradesh for
$ 2 billion.

A team of officers headed by the bank's vice president Dr. Dee Pandian met with the Chief Minister. The AIDB funds are funded by three projects related to Roads Department of Buildings, Rural Water Supply, Divisional Urban Development and Panchayati Raj Department.

The team came to the state to study the proposals sent by the government for financial aid. Ministers Nara Lokesh, P.Narayana and others participated.
