Kashmir needs Conscience and not Comments

It is almost 7 decades, we got independence yet there seems no end to the nagging Jammu and Kashmir imbrogio. So many Prime Ministers changed, different parties seiged power in central but no solution is in the vicinity. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after getting a massive majority is striving hard to show its mark of governance. The comments of Congress leader P Chidambaram opining more autonomy for J& K State has become the subject of controversy.

PM Modi himself took it too serious and tore into the remarks of former Congress leader PC.Prime minister has said that "Congress remarks were an insult to our soldiers and lends voice to separatist forces in the state."

What is so special in Congress leaders remark? Was he off guard while making such comments? He was a responsible minister, had much experience in politics. So many people of the state are favouring more autonomy and it is the ground reality is the essence of his opinion.

Recently the process of talks by interloctur for J&K Dinesh Sharma has begun. He was appointed by the government a few days ago.The comments of Chidambaram are favorable to separatists is the cause for the objection raised by PM, Finance Minister Jaitley.

The J& K unrest and rebellious state reached its peak around 1989.Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao tried to assuage emotions to solve extent. The Efforts taken by Pm Vajpayee to could not reach a conclusion. The UPA government kept the matters in a lukewarm mode. The coalition government in Kashmir now and BJP at the center tried to show extent kept the aggressive posture under control.

Now weakness of government is no more visible and everyone knows that.present PM doesn't want to see the effort of Army to be diluted diplomatically by the remarks of anyone.so he feels his remarks are derogatory for armed forces.

However, it is the time that government sticks to its stand of having peaceful dialogues keeping aside remarks made by persons so that a peaceful solution is reached.
