Saudi Arabia Grants Citizenship to Robot,faces citicism

The world has undergone a big change with the advent of electronics and its applicability by engineers in various fields.The computerisation has given precision, speed to many activities, Now the artificial intelligence (AI) is making rounds in the research field. It is not for financial gain AI is given thrust, it will be useful in future to undertake tasks that are beyond the capacity of human beings.

The Robo culture everywhere is replacing human dependence.Already Japan, China,America, are availing the Robo services in restaurants, hospitals on the experimental basis. In places and situations where humans cannot centre miniscule robos can get in and transmit relavant information.when fire accidents, buildings collapse these robos can be used for rescue operations.

Some countries are using robos as sex toys and these robos look similar to Humans and sometimes the intelligence of these devices exceeds humans.



The most recent incident of Saudi Arabia government conferring citizenship to a female robocalled "Sophia" raised eyebrows of so many. A citizen will have so many rights engraved in constitution.The dilemma before all is how a robo can get the fulfillment of all these rights. It is worth noting the doubt of a citizen"how a robo can get the company or enjoyment of male will be like?".

Robots in industries undertaking dangerous tasks are almost available in small scale.The Robos performing surgeries is experienced.The sucess rate of activities by robos is also high.

Science and technology must be useful for the benefit for the maximum people and governments must be cautious while giving citizenship to Robos.
