Ben Stokes case Eye witness said stokes is a real hero

Stokes was arrested in Bristol in the bar brawl case and investigation was going on due to which he was suspended by ECB and dropped from Ashes squad. Alex Hales, who was with during the incident was also suspended.

But now the investigation came to conclusion as two eyewitness gave their statement.

A gay couple, Kai Barry and Billy O'Connell said
Stokes is a real hero and he saved them from being attacked."We were so grateful to Ben for stepping in to help. He was a real hero. Kai feared he could be attacked. If Ben hadn't intervened it could have been a lot worse for us," Billy said.

The couple said they were dancing when someone called them 'batty boys', a derogatory term for gays. When the two left the pub around 2am, Stokes and Hales accompanied them. Kai revealed they heard more shouts of 'batty boys' but they ignored. After which suddenly the fight started, they said they were afraid after the fight so left from there.
