YSRCP Chief YS Jagan writes to President Ramnath Kovindh

Vijayawada, Oct 28: The Andhra Pradesh Opposition Leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy had written a letter to President Ramnath Kovind on Friday accusing AP CM Chandrababu Naidu of making a mockery of democracy by encouraging defections.

Informing the boycott of Monsoon Sessions of Assembly by YSR Congress, Jagan informed President about the manner in which 21 Opposition MLAs were lured by the Ruling Party.

He alleged, "Speaker hasn't disqualified Legislators so far. Though the MLAs have joined TDP, They were still projected as YCP MLAs in the Assembly Website. Four of them (N Amarnath Reddy, Adinarayana Reddy, Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao, Akhila Priya) have been currently serving as TDP Ministers".

Describing the defections as an attack on Democracy, YCP Chief sought disqualification of 20 MLAs and 1 MLC who joined TDP with immediate effect. He demanded the ouster of four YCP MLAs from the TDP Cabinet.

Jagan alleged Chandrababu Naidu has cheated the people of AP with false promises. He mentioned about sand mafia, real estate mafia, call money sex racket and the corruption in irrigation projects happening in the state. Finally, Yuva Neta appealed President of India to take appropriate action on the issues brought to his notice.
