PV Sindhu enters semi-final of the French Open

Indian Shuttler PV Sindhu on Friday defeated China’s Chen Yufei 21-14 and 21-14 to reach women’s singles semi-final of the French Open. Throughout the match, 22-year-old Sindhu dominated the world No 10 Chen winning the two consecutive sets of the quarterfinal match.
The Indian shuttler took just 41 minutes to beat Chen 21-14 21-14 in the quarter-finals. With this win, Sindhu now leads the Chinese 3-2 in the overall record.
In the semi-final of the French Open, Sindhu will battle it out with the winner of the match between Sung Ju Hyun (third seed) of South Korea and Akane Yamaguchi (fifth seed) of Japan. The match will be held tomorrow, October 28.
