Hina Khan insults South cinema actresses

TV actress Hina Khan who rose to fame from her hit serial 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' has insulted the South Industry and said that South prefers ‘bulging’ actresses.

Hina Khan during a chat with the housemates in Bigg Boss 11, claimed that South industry prefers only bulging women and confessed that she had been approached for two big projects but she rejected them as they had asked her to gain weight.

These statements of her didn't go well with south cinema fans and actors. The South actresses Hansika Motwani, Khushbu Sundar, among many others , took to Twitter to slam Hina Khan for the degrading remarks. Khushbu wrote, “They need lessons from South on how to be dignified… That’s why they remain where they are and our girls zoom past them"

Many others called it a story of sour grapes as Hina would never be welcomed in South cinema.
