IPC Sections against Zakir Naik

The National Investigation Agency has filed a chargesheet that includes 85 statements made under Section 161 in the Code Of Criminal Procedure (CrPC
against controversial preacher Zakir Naik for allegedly inciting youngsters for terror activities and giving hate speeches.

Naik's sister Nailah Noorani has confessed that her brother was using her as a tool in a company set up by him. The other damaging statement against Naik comes from Amir Gazdar, a close aide of the controversial Islamic preacher.

298 for utterances (speeches) with deliberate intent to wound the religious feelings of any person

Section 10 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) for being a member of an unlawful association.
