Shiv Sena and BJP tiff

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has made several comments against BJP, at the same time, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has also compared Shiv Sena with BJP's arch-rival, the Congress.

Raut and Maharashtra Education Minister Vinod Tawde explained the relationship between the two parties Raut said, "The parties have been in a long-term relationship. They are together till date. There are some ideological differences but everything is fine between us. There are some people trying to spoil this relationship."

Countering Raut, Tawde said, "Issues have been changing during every election. There was a similar scenario in 2012 too. There were reports across the media regarding the BJP's defeat. However, against BJP came to power and the results will be same this time too."

Tawde attacked the Shiv Sena by saying that it was losing its ground to the BJP at all levels.

To this Raut said that Sena was not in power but was just in alliance with the government. "Sena will be in power when it will have its own chief minister and cabinet." Raut said
