Minister KTR invites Malaysian firms to invest in Telangana

Hyderabad, Oct 26: The Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao invited Malaysian firms to invest in Telangana during their visit to Hyderabad here on Wednesday.

A Malaysian delegation led by Malaysian High Commissioner to India Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid got a glimpse into investment opportunities and tourist destinations in Telangana State during their visit to Hyderabad.

They keenly observed investment opportunities and were impressed with the investor-friendly policies as well as the high growth rate of the State.

During a meeting with the Malaysian delegation here on Wednesday, IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao explained the progressive investment environment prevalent in the State, including various pro-investor policies and priority industrial sectors.

"The Telangana government is actively promoting investments in various emerging sectors including Information Technology. Our initiatives like startup incubator T-Hub have provided a huge boost to the innovation ecosystem in Hyderabad," he added.

The Minister said the State government was happy to work with Malaysian companies which are interested in investing in the State. He presented Pochampally handloom stoles to members of the visiting delegation.
