Shahid Kapoor not happy says role has been underplayed in the trailer

Shahid Kapoor who plays the role of Maharana Rawal Ratan Singh in the film Padmavati is not satisfied with the way his character is shown in trailers of the movie. He said “I think that the role has been underplayed in the trailer,”. He asked his fans to wait for the movie to see what actually his character's strength will be. “You have to wait for the film to discover the role. Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost,” says Shahid.



When asked about the ongoing violence against the movie he said that “Right now, the focus has to be to release the film. We have taken care to keep everybody’s points of view while making the film. It is a great cinematic experience and it has been made in a way that will show the people of this country in the nicest light,”.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are also eagerly waiting for the movie to release.
